    Repost: Wood Stork (and baby)

I had posted this a few weeks ago and re-worked it based on comments received. I had originally cropped tighly around the mama bird and missed junior entirely. Tell me what you think of this version, please.

    this changes everything

before I was thinking ugly bird good shot but not exciting...but this adds a little more of a slice of life if you know what I mean...it tells more of a story and keeps you there... some would say it might be too tight with the little guy allthe way in the lower corner...but I think it's a nice touch with the mother still being the focus. I like the color the light...only thing I'd change is that tree behing her a bit distracting but what can you do,,,

This shot has several good elements in it (light, composition, details, action, story), but it's the background... it really ruins the shot in my opinion, above all in the area of his legs. Pitty, because it had so much potential.
