    Empty street no.1

I have shot a fairly similar scene last summer while the pavement was being built.
Here is the continuation of the series.

Looks good to me, Seb. Nice job capturing the beauty, especially at night, of this pavement. Good work on the perspective in the comp as well

I like it, minus the light on the far left handed side. I'm not sure if cropping it out would work, but maybe burning it a tad. Nice shot, good patterns, and a nice urban shot.

    Well done,

    Jared

Seb, My 900th post, just for you. I really like this shot! I think the lighting is great and really adds a nice warm and inviting mood to the image. I also find the comp to be very nice. I like the light on the building on the far right, it gives the views eyes a place to wander to.

Great shot, love the feeling of solitude, with what seems to be an active area with the lights in the distance.

Hey guys, thanks for the great imput!
It seems that some of you dislike the lights at the extreme left for the same reasons than some enjoy them. Now that's a problem lol.

Gary: The Nikkor 12-24mm DX give so much depth to everything and is extremely sharp. It worked wonder in most cases that I have encountered on that week end. I would definately like to own one of these.

Jared: Thanks for the good words.

MJS: you rock! Thanks for dedicating your 900th post for my picture. That's nice.

Payn187: I too liked the solitude of this urban area. I believe that it almost look odd which create a tension I was looking for.

    regards

    Seb

WOW dude, that shot is totally sweet. I like how everything is perfectly exposed and it seems to have this richness in tones. This shot to me is deep. An added bonus for my eyes are the light rays coming off the bright light on the left and the shadow it casts on that one single pole, amazing. The perspective you chose is perfect and interesting. I really appreciate this shot because I could imagine someone walking down that street and not even notice the beauty thats there, you found it and accented it. I like the rareness of an empty street that otherwise would probably be crowded with people. killer stuff.

Wow Seb, It feels as though I'm there. Not all shots convey that feeling for me. This one is very beautiful me thinks.
