Cat in Window - Come Home Soon...

Here's a photo I took with my Nikon D70 and processed a bit in Photoshop. I call it "Come Home Soon". Any comments are appreciated. Thanks!

While I like the soft colors in the flower and pot, if your purpose was to invoke the feeling in the title, I think the coloring and selective focus work against it.

This foto creates a real feeling of loneliness in me. The flower tries to enlighten the feeling but does not succeed.I think the photograher succeeded in his attempt.The overall softness of the phot lets me think that is was a cold day the photo was taken.
