A candid shot..any thoughts?

http://gallery.photographyreview.com...php?photo=5845

These are my parents, whom I caught kissing on the porch. They look so good together. I hope that I am that happy in my 50's.

Hey Almo

Nice shot! I like how tight it is and still works!

The thing that bugged me first (maybe a nit) is her hair in his face. My eye went right to it. That may not be true for others though.

The reflections are also a bit distracting but also lend something to the pic... I'm on the fence with those.

Nice one!

They both like it very much. They want an 8x10!

On the other hand they don't see the technical flaws that we do.

That is a beautiful picture, very compelling. The reflections in their glasses is a bit too much but I am convinced that a framed print of this photograph is a gift that they would cherish.

Thanks for your comments guys.

I really like that you can see me taking the picture in my father's glasses. As though I were a "glimmer" in his eye.;)

This is a great image Almo!
Thanks for posting it here.
I can see why your parents like it so, they seem like a loving couple.

FYI... I know you upload a lot of your pics in the gallery, which is great, but instead of posting the URL you can post the image here.
Here's how you do it. Right click on the image, go to "properties" and cut and paste the URL of the image, not URL you posted here, the one I am talking about ends in .jpg.
Then come here to post as you normally would, but when you do the pic, click on the "insert image" icon above the yellow one with the mountain, paste the URL of the image into the pop up and hit "OK". What will appear in the test box is something like this. You can do this too if you know or remember the html formatting.

What a cute couple! I love this shot so much. Nothing about it bothers me. I love her hair in his face and his fuzzy beard. The reflection is nothing to me but only adds to the quirkyness and cuteness. They look like such fun, loving people and you have captured it. I honestly think this could win some kind of award.

Thanks for the comment brian, and thanks for the hint on posting. I have been flowing the photo as art rule of posting from the gallery in all the forums, but I will be glad to use that metod instead.
