To Bee (first bee)

This was my first photo of an insect. This was with my old HP 315 (2.0 megapixel) which I gave away. I like this photo; just not sure if I could get the background that dark again. This photo was an accident. This is partially cropped.

very cool, the contrast of the bright colors with the incredibly dark background is unusual but interesting, i can't decide if i like it. the soft focus on the bee, with the strong focus on the flower parts (i'm as bad at botany as i am photography!) i'm also undecided on , although in this case it would be a shame to lose the incredible detail in the foreground. i may have actually preferred it w/o the bee!
