Beautiful shot of nature at its finest. I especially like the capture of the silk strands crossing the body of the bee. This is a shot worthy of a nature magazine. My only suggestion (and I try to give at least one piece of constructive criticism every time) is that I would have liked it even more had the action in the shot been more in the left side of the picture so that it looks more like the spider is entering rather than exiting. I realize that this is usually much easier said than done, but that's how I see the shot being even better than it already is.

Perhaps it's just me but I think that the picture could use some more sharpness over the spyder and the bee. Other than that, this is a good picture. I like the dof, the colours and you obviously captured the action right.

I like the lead in of the web on the left side, leading you staight to the "action"
It does seem that the head of the spider is a *little* Soft...
Otherwise great photo!

Funny, I shot a web yesterday, with out a spider, in my front yard.....
and I shot a spider that was yellow and black like this one, not sure if the markings were the same....in my back yard a few days prior....... Would anyone happen to know what type of spider this is? I didn't kill it, wondering if i should lol.

Its right near my sliding glass door...and my dogs hang out nearby.

It was handheld while the wind was blowing and I was balancing between tomato plants. My husband laughed at me when I said I had taken some pictures of a spider. There were acutally about 25 shots of the silly thing! Ahh, the wonderes of digital!

Since there is a hot spot on the spiders head, You may want to try burning it in, It may take away some of that "fuzzy" feel around the head of the spider.
If it doesn't burn in well ( i don't think there is much information there) I'd try cloning it in !

i would say my .02 cents, but its actually added up to .04 now....
