Another critique please....

Hi Betty ,

Both these photos are very nice , i do like the second one the most . The composition is very good and the colors , very warm .
The first photo's quality is a bit poor , maybe due to when you were scanning the photo to be able to upload it ?
I am also using photoshop and psp8 . Psp 8 is very easy to learn , and i think a good photo editing program .

Thank you James! I think I will have fun with the graphics programs too! I also downloaded Photoimpact. I am enjoying this very much! When I return from town I will look at some of your photos! Thank you again!

I don't know what it is, but the first one is literally like the scene out of a vivid dream. I think it might be the softness of the details and bluish tint (since supposedly we don't dream in color?). Whatever it is though, it's almost like you've freezed a frame from an eerie movie scene and posted it here. I really like this one.

The second shot isn't bad, but I think there's a little too much going on / the angle is a little off. Either way, see if you can reproduce the feeling / artistic vision you got at the first place, when shooting elsewhere. It's a really neat look.
