    d90 question

ok i started of with my first camera a week before xmas 08 a bridge camera nikon of course,

i got rid of that by the 4th jan and moved on to nikon d60, absolutely loved it and got some greap pictures in the bahamas on my wedding using it, 3 ,months ago i was offered a olympus e520
    OLYMPUS E520
    ZUIKO DIGITAL 14-42MM F3.5-56
ZUIKO DIGITAL 35MM F3.5 MACRO LENSE
    BAG
    MEMORY CARD
LENS FILTER **got this for sale currently**
and snapped it up a week later offered d300 with 5 lenses for a mere 600, sold 3 lenses for 5k,

now decided the d300 is not for me to bulky for my liking so sold it and the two remaining lenses for 8k
why did i get it so cheap ??? bloke was about to be repossed and needed the money asap

now ive sold the d60, the d300, and selling the olympus

i have this evening purchased the d90 with 18-105mm LENS vr

now what lenses should i look out for for macro shots and long long distance

    thank you

What's your definition of 'long, long' distance. Does it mean you want to zoom in on far off objects or get wide views of landscapes.
As for macro, PhotoJohn just started a thread wanting to know what others use and their impressions.
    Macro Lenses?

I've only used the Tamron 90 so can't compare it to others but it seems a good lens to me.
The Nikon 105 is supposed to be good since you have all that money from selling.
Wow! You got a good deal. Sure it wasn't stolen?

Oh! And welcome to the forums.

There is some overlap but I would consider the Nikon 70-300VR lens, Jeff
