Congratulations, a beautiful image and my vote in the comp. I like your analogy of a golfing hole in one, very true and very inspiring.
Thanks for all the help you provide Bob.

Congrats, Bob. I'll make a deal with you. I'll pay the taxes on everything, if you let me keep the camera and you keep the lens and printer. I'm sure you don't really need another camera anyway.

LOL - You're too kind. Sadly, I just wouldn't feel right burdening you with my governmental obligations :cryin: :cryin:

Seriously, I'm waiting to see if they send a 5D, or a 5D mark II. If it's the Mark II, I'm definitely keeping it. If it's the 5D, I'll probably put a trade together with that and my 40D and go after another pro body.

Awesome Bob, your shots always prove you deserve it. It may be a competition, but it's a lot of hard work to get where you stand today...it's almost like training for the big game. I think that is a feeling lost on non-photographers, who don't understand what it's like kneeling in chest-deep water with 4k worth of gear just to get the shot . In any case, congrats!

Congrats Bob. Could not have gone to a more deserving photographer for what you go through to get these images. Your work never fails to catch my breath so it is no surprise to me that you did so well in the competition.
