Eric I have viewed this shot a number of times - what it is about it has finally come to mind and its that I get the sense that your eagle, in the midst of the doing the domestic nesting thing, seems so much less raptorous and imposing - almost as though its forgotten the "kill for survival" thing for a while - wonderful capture - look forward to more from the new nest!!
