    Spread 'em

I've been trying to photograph this Anhinga for a while. The black and white makes for a tough exposure. This is one of my better shots from that perspective. Overall, do you like it? How would you improve it?

nice dof and really nice sharp image...

as for improvements i might have liked it even more if it wasnt at the angle but was at a level horizon

but other than that its very nice

    Hi LL
I really dig the angle on this one. I think the wingspan looks very clear, however I notice a little lost clarity in the head ...? Overall impressive shot.

    no critique really......

A hint on the behavior of the Anhinga(Anhinga anhinga)

If you don't already know, they ALWAYS perch like this to dry off the feathers after a swim(feathers are not water repellant)
I think the tail on this WORN ADULT MALE (non breeding plumage) is an essential part of this species' image . those tails are very long !

Keep at itm your images are getting better by the day.
