    Osprey with prey



    This is a first for me, capturing a prey bird in the wild in México

    heavy crop, captured with the 70-300 Vr f/8 1/2500 iso 400

    Nice! Great catch by you and the bird.
    By the way the English word is prey but we know what you mean. Your English is better than some native speakers I have to interact with now and then.

    I had the feeling pray was the wrong word, unless this is a religious bird and is giving thanks to his god for the good meal he was able to catch

    Osprey are very cool birds! I have yet to photograph one myself so seeing a great photo of one is pretty cool! Nice capture Armando.

    I saw one of these guys doing the same thing at the southern tip of the everglades...wish I could locate the picture about now. Great picture!
