Osprey with prey

This is a first for me, capturing a prey bird in the wild in México

heavy crop, captured with the 70-300 Vr f/8 1/2500 iso 400

I had the feeling pray was the wrong word, unless this is a religious bird and is giving thanks to his god for the good meal he was able to catch :)

Osprey are very cool birds! I have yet to photograph one myself so seeing a great photo of one is pretty cool! Nice capture Armando.

I saw one of these guys doing the same thing at the southern tip of the everglades...wish I could locate the picture about now. Great picture!
