Black bellied whistling ducks

I took these this morning on a golf course not far from my house. These are my kind of birdies.

Quite striking with their white eye-rings, pink bills, and pink legs/feet! I love their white wing patches.

Looks like a rogue golf cart sent them flying

Yes, they are quite striking. Fortunately, they don't seem to mind being around people either. I've seen them perched in a tree in my neighbor's yard, on top of a telephone pole and even on the roof of my house. I've even seen them nest in a partially hollowed out tree trunks in my neighborhood.
