    Hi everyone,

I have made a BASIC website at :

    http://sarahfarthing.tripod.com

I just wanted to find out if some of the images on my site look really dark on other members screens?.(the images where fine when i adjusted the levels e.t.c in photoshop.
Also are there any other sites that are free, that alow abit more controll of placement of images, and the design?.

    Thankyou.

    You can also try....

Yeah, the images, mostly the black and white ones, are rather dark. It could be due to the fact that they are small?
There isn't really a lot you can do with "free sites", but you could also try GeoCities and Angelfire.
Good Luck and Keep at it!

As Brian said, most of the images are dark on my screen too. Are you using an sRGB profile for you images that are on the web, if not, then what you see in Photoshop isn't going to be what the web browswer displays.

As for free website hosting, nothing is free these days, you get what you pay for. If you are interested in having a site hosted, let me know and we can come up with something I am sure, but only if you are interested.
