Question Dedicated Black & White Printer

I have been using an Epson Stylus 960 photo printer and just bought a Canon I9900 photo printer (mainly for the size options). I would like to use one of them as a dedicated Black & White printer but cannot seem to find a company that offers a solution for either printer. Has anyone found a solution for either of these printers (preferably the Canon) to use as a strictly multi shade black and white printer?

If the answer is no, can someone tell me what the entry level printer would be to use the Pieozography system?

Lastly, are there any tips or tricks to doing quality black & white with the I9900?

    Thanks
