I am located in Vancouver BC and having the same issue, but the link does not work on where Jeremy got his 329 QR plate from....anybody out there with some assistance?

The place where I got mine doesn't seem to have them anymore. I Googled Manfrotto 329PL-14 (the plate model #) and found one here: http://www.icoste.com/34_Photo-Devel...pare-Plate.htm (it's in the UK btw).
Also check ebay for Bogen or Manfrotto quick release plate or tripod plate. As you can see from the thread I found an older one there as well thanks to a fellow user.
