    3-D product photography

The company I work for is thinking about doing 3-D product photos. Has anyone tried this? I saw a rig on Kaidan's website that looked interesting. The Meridian C-60 or something. Anyone heard of it or used it? If anyone has attempted using a rig like this I would love to hear some feedback.

What do you mean by 3D? Stereoscopic? Or just the QuickTime VR stuff where all you do is control a spinning object?

How to tell the most experienced shooter in a group? They have the least amount of toys on them.

I mean 360x360 single shots of a product. I undrstand that i can probably only capture half of those shots but I'm curious to see what equipment I can use to do this.
