Olympus OM10 Problem?

Hi, so I recently started using my dad's old OM10 to break away from digital (so far I like the idea of film way more actually). When changing lenses today, I found that behind the top of the mirror, there is a little 5mm rubber flap, and it seems that part of that flap is tucked behind the mirror, and the other part is out in front. I don't notice anything on the view finder, but I'm wondering if this is some sort of light seal or something, or if having it somewhat tucked in and somewhat un-tucked is even harmful. Will I get light leaks? Or is there nothing to fear?

Sorry I can't get pictures right now because my computer is fudged. But hopefully if you have a OM10 maybe you can figure out what I'm talking about

It would help if somehow you could post a picture. But you could always run a cheap roll of film through it.

I suspect it may be the little foam strip below the focus screen that acts as a cushion when the mirror flips up. The glue may have let go and it has attached itself to the mirror.
I have no rubber on the back of my mirror. I would recomend that if you are unsure to take it in to a camera tech and let them look at it. It should be a simple and low cost fix. I am an OM fan and it would be worth getting it fixed as they are great cameras.

Further thought if you may see something on this site showing how to replace the light seals that may confirm what the material is and where it belongs. Look at http://www.kyphoto.com/classics/sealreplacement.html and select OM10 on the left hand side. I replaced the light seals on my OM1 and OM10 and got them of ebay from Jon Goodman. He makes an excellent product if you want to replace the light seals yourself.
