Will USA software work in the UK?

Hi there, I'm about to buy my first digital camera and I'm in the US next week (I live in the UK) and thinking of getting it there. Does anyone know if I would have any problems with the software working in the UK?
By the way I need a compact above, just for friends and family pics, but don't want to wait forever everytime I have to take a shot!

If you are running Windows XP or MacOS, I don't see why not.

I don't see why it wouldn't work. However most software that comes with cameras is pretty mediocre to being with so you probably wouldn't miss much even if it didn't work.
