    Sandisk CF Reader problem...

Well I bought a CF card reader instead to save all the trouble...but sometimes when I drag pics from the folder when I put the memory card in the card reader pics turn out like this:

Am I doing something wrong? It happens even if I don't touch the pic and just peview it in the folder.

Even the video has those colors in it..

Make sure you copy the images, do not move them, and make sure to eject the card through the OS before removing the card. They are getting corrupted, check to see if transferring from the camera does the same thing.

I'm no expert when it comes to photography, but I am something of a computer geek. I'd think reading them on the card is a bad idea. (Tho I am guilty too.) I've yet to have a problem myself, personally, but copying them to HD and playing with them there is probably a ton safer. I'd take your card to get it looked at too. Corruption in files is usually a precursor to failure.

Having said that, I'm not real experienced with these cards yet, I use the same as you, scandisk CF, but that is my experience with disks.
