Re: PowerShot SX210 VS IXUS 1000 HS

thank you very much Jhon your answer is too clear and I think finally got what I want all that I was trying to got is a clear and short advice from a professional. I was waiting for some one to tell me "buy that"

    I already read the review
the models of photos are good at low light but still there are a some nose on it

actually I tried to find this camera in some markets in Japan but I think it has a different name it is the IXY 50S in Japan, please check this link

I loved this Camera because it is so compact and really as I can see on the photos models no compact camera can take that nice photos at low light
I add some models added by some Japanese people
and they said that they didn't use tripod at all

I had to take the photos out because they're too big and made the page load too slow. We also have a rule about only posting photos you've taken yourself.

That looks like the same camera to me. It's a brand new model and new body design and there isn't another one like it. At least as far as I know. It also has Canon's best low light technology. But I would still have a tripod for serious night photos. Yes, you can get good photos without one if you're careful and lucky. But if night photos are what you're after, a tripod is the right way to do it.
