Not sure if this is the right forum for this :blush2: , but the mods can move it if it isn't. I currently have a SanDisk Ultra II 2 GB and a 4 GB CF cards - the smaller one is currently for backup. I am thinking about upgrading to either a SanDisk Extreme III or Extreme IV (4GB) and am curious if these will work with my 5D and the Lexar CF (USB 2) card reader that I have, or will I also need to buy a new card reader that's specifically for the Extreme CF cards (not that that's really a consideration - their relatively cheap). I would appreciate any insight/experience that anyone would care to provide. :D Thanks.

Cheers,

WesternGuy

The reader should work fine, and the Extreme III cards are the only cards I use, never a failure with them.

Thanks guys - looks like it is the Extreme III - probably pick one up this week and then the Ultra II becomes backup #1.
