Doors for a summer house: what to choose?

I want to replace the front door at my dacha. I need something reliable and resistant to temperature changes, since the house is not heated in winter. Tell me, what is the best choice in this case? What materials are suitable for such conditions?

Re: Doors for a summer house: what to choose?

For the cottage, we chose fiberglass doors because they are resistant to temperature changes and do not require complex maintenance. If safety is a priority, you can consider steel doors https://www.elegantentrydoors.ca/entry-steel-doors/ , which are also reliable and durable. If you want to give your home a stylish look, then the red front door will be a great accent. For us, choosing fiberglass doors turned out to be the best solution, since they are not subject to corrosion and do not crack from frost. However, if your cottage is often empty, a steel door will become additional protection against break-ins.
