I love the purple color. Perfect composition again. I like where you placed the windows and the fence. The moss on the roof also helps the image. Another good one... Greg availablelight 02-15-2007, 08:55 PM nice composition, great shot, good eye to spot that and capture it as you did. MarcusK 02-15-2007, 11:19 PM is Mcr245 a reference to Hansel and Gretel??? maybe the location of the book in your local library??? Very nice work! Marc Overbeyond 02-16-2007, 01:08 AM There's perfection in the geometry, colours and composition and it makes for a very attractive image. Out of curiosty I would like to know the story of the title; is it the address? Tom Tuna 02-16-2007, 05:14 AM Everyone - thank you for your comments. I didn't have a title for this one and what you see is simply the file designation in my hard drive - sorry for any confusion. MCR stands for "moss covered roofs" and the 245 is the file size. Tuna trog100 02-16-2007, 06:25 AM are they film scans.. i ask because i see lots of colour noise/grain and a general colour tone that my digital camera just would not produce.. they are nice images providing i dont look too close.. even at the small presented size.. i cant help but wonder why this is so.. trog drg 02-16-2007, 09:47 AM I about had a heart seizure, Tuna shooting in Color??? Just kidding. The colors are eye catching, but the photo as a whole seem incomplete. All of the different lines producing a pattern don't quite go any where, perhaps they compete too much with one another. The window on the rear building I feel needs to be more exposed as in the whole frame with some siding to the right or cut through more. The scene has great potential just for all the different verticals and horizontals. I wonder if the fence is throwing me off. I want it to guide my eye somewhere or provide a frame or do something other than just come to an abrupt halt. There's potential for this to express compactness and order (one interpretation) as a scene. As it is I'm left wondering. Thanks for sharing and don't take any of my comments personally :D Always enjoy seeing your work. |
