Our first three grandsons all made big messes and had a great time doing it on their first birthdays. In Wesley's case it was his first chocolate ever too. It's a real hoot watching these little guys learn about life. Thanks for taking a look at these.

Compared to my oldest, he's looking good! When she turned one, we had to take her in the tub and hose her down, she was covered head to toe.

Well we did kind of cheat and only gave him a cupcake rather than the big cake. The adults just weren't willing to give up their share of the birthday fun by letting him tear into the whole thing.

Amber, Toot and Ali thanks for the looks and the comments. I have to agree that was one fast year. Wesley is a real sweetheart and growing and learning so much so very quickly. It's an exciting time for our family with three grandsons 1 year or younger.
