Some people have a condition where one eye is more dominant than the other, and it does not depend on which hand you use, or how you play any sports, left, or right handed. The term used to describe this condition is 'mono-ocular' where one eye is used more than both, or the other. Most people with this condition may lack proper depth perception, particularily for night vision. I'm not an authority on the subject, but discovered that I was born with this condition, when I applied for a private pikots licence. During the visual test portion of a medical exam, the examiner ask - 'Do you see out of your right eye?', much to my amazement, and the visual test was completed successfully using the right eye only. The rules 'n regulations were not written to cover this condition, so I had to undergo 'specific' testing to obtain a 'night endorsment' for my private ticket.
