..And yet, even more from Yellowstone!

I shot a lot. A lot a lot. It was fun - like being on a playground. Without further babbling...
First image is an abstract of a thermal pool near Old Faithful. The second two images were taken at around 11,000 feet at a lake a 3/4 mile hike down from one of the higher points along the Beartooth Highway.

    Sick of me yet?

#1 - Yes! Black and white! Yellowstone Lake - really, an inland sea - from Canyon Village area.
#2 - Similar vista in color. Not much difference, except blue.
#3 - the best (crappy) bison pic I could get leaning over my cousin in the driver's seat with my 40-150mm lens.
That's it for now! Holga and pinhole to come... I'm having scanner issues. Thanks for looking... and to any strangers - my images are all Copyright 2006 Megan Green. Yes, even the pie and crappy bison.

Re: ..And yet, even more from Yellowstone!

Someday, I'd like to live there like a hermit and take pictures with my Canon 30D all day. I won't run out of things to do until I have to break into a house or car to recharge my camera batteries.

Love the shots! I wish I could shoot pictures there. Someday....

Is that a, small, thundering herd along the lake?

Blueberry, raspberry, or blackberry? Looks to be small for blackberries. I am a pie connoisseur. I'll guess wild mountain raspberry. Looks delightful.

I think it looks like cherry. If it truly is the worlds best, I've added that as a vacation spot.

I love the thermal pool. Can't wait to see the Holga stuff!

This is a shot taken 2 years ago of a tree stump in a burned out area of Yellowstone. This stump had a huge hole burn through it so you could use it to frame other items.

All your shots are great!! I've been living in Colorado now for 6 years and have yet to make it up to Yellowstone. That's almost a crime!!

    Hi Megan,

I've really enjoyed looking through your photos. They're all great. Yellowstone is an amazing place. I went there when I was about 10, and your threads reminded me that I took some photos there with a little 110 camera. That's probably one of my first photographic experiences. I'll have to go dig them up now.

I'm looking forward to seeing your Holga stuff. This type of subject matter is rarely seen through a Holga lens.

    Thanks for sharing.

    Paul

Invade away, Rick! (And thanks, everyone)

Thanks for looking, everyone, and taking the time to comment. I appreciate it.
Though I can't take full credit for the photos - I think you could drop your camera in Yellowstone and still get a great shot, it's so beautiful.

Please, Rick.... DO go buy a Holga! Actually, I've got a few extras hanging around if you want one. However, if you do get one - and they ARE a lot of fun - I'd recommend getting a pimped out Holga from Holgamods.com.

    PIMP MY HOLGA!

I will try to figure out my scanner issues tonight....
