World Equestrian Games

I had the opportunity to attend the World Equestrian games that were held at the Horse Park in Lexington, Ky. last month. It was a very cool experience.
This was the first time that these events were held in the United States. Could be a once in a lifetime experience?
My only complaint was there was a restriction on the type of camera equipement that could be carried into the park; no lens over 5" in length.
We did a lot of walking that weekend, so they probably did me a favor.
