    Work images

    Only had the P&S with me today but the foto op presented itself . This is a BB Chevy crankshaft on the ballancer at work. Shot hand held with a canon A520 Manual/tv 1/4 f-2.6 on shot 1 and F-3.2 on the other shots.

    Very cool,I love the sense of speed.The hard Chrome has great light play,reflective properties.At what RPM is the balancing taking place?

    Around 500 RPM.When the assembly is way out it tries to jump out of the machine.

    Love these Jimmy. My family owed and I managed an auto parts store that included a machine shop my brother ran for nearly 30 years. These excellent images brought back memories.
    Don't forget about the Gallery. Are your photos there??

    Thanks Old Timer. I've been in 2 different shops for 22 years, steady paychecks and have never been laid off. I enjoy doing what I do.
