In wonder if this ever happens to photographers ..

From Wikipedia article on Phil Collins... I wonder if photographers have their own personal stash of photos too?

Collins’s record sales began to drop with the 1993 release of Both Sides, a largely experimental album that, according to Collins, included songs that "were becoming so personal, so private, I didn't want anyone else's input".

Yep, all the time. As an amateur, I always shoot for myself, never to please others. My livelihood does not depend upon the photographic opinions of strangers!

Yes of course, I think amateur photographers and even professional photographers when they started even shoot for themselves too. It's always good to please yourself once in a while.
