WNY Adventure - Holley

On our way back home on Sunday I took Route 31 for the most part back to Canada, one of our stops along the way was the Holley High School in Holley, NY. Built in 1930 abandoned in 1980. The reason, the small town needed a bigger school, so instead of renovating/adding onto the exisiting building, they abandoned it and built a new one. sigh at least they left this one standing right in the middle of town. We got 13 people in and out of this place on a Sunday Afternoon.

So beautiful, but such a waste. Hope they renovate it. Looks like a fun trip you had!
