    The Winter 24 Hours

It's been about 3 months since our last "24 Hours" project. Now that the holidays are over and life has settled down again, and winter is in full effect (for southern California at least ) I think we should start plannning the Winter 24. I was thinking February 3, a Saturday, but I wasn't sure how people felt about having it on a weekend again. I think we decided to alternate them between weekends and week days? I enjoyed them both, I think each definitely had their own flavor. So let's start the polling now, for weekend or weekday. And from there, we'll whittle it down to a date that works for most.

If you're not familiar with the 24 Hours projects, it is an optional photography assignment in which all the members of photographyreview.com take pictures during the same 24 hour period and then post them all in a thread which collects the results of everybody's day. The results are often funny, intriguing, diverse, and addictive!

    Re: The Winter 24 Hours

Now that I've looked back on the other three 24 Hours again, I think I am going to change my vote to "weekday." I think watching people at work is pretty entertaining That also keeps with our goal of alternating weekend and weekday projects.

Good! Because the snow is not sticking well up in our local mountains. When do we start??????

    I dont care, honestly.

    But I'll go with Weekday.

Also, Does it have to be a certain theme? Or can I just post any picture I took that day?

EDIT: Never mind, just looked at the old threads.

    Re: The Winter 24 Hours

I prefer the weekend dates myself, but I'm pretty flexible. I will take part no matter what day it is, as long as I remember. We just got a few inches of snow last night, so hopefully it will stick around until the project.

I was going to say weekend, but maybe it's time to try a weekday again. No idea what I'll do for it, but I need a little nudge in the posterior to do something...

I voted for a weekday. Are you sure you don't want to do it today, or tomorrow? Austin is about to get iced over.

    Re: The Winter 24 Hours

It sounds like there's a lot of interest in doing it SOON. At least, from everyone not in NY!

The problem we ran into last time was that people missed the thread (somehow) and didn't know it was happening until after the fact. So I'd like to give people plenty of warning this time. So, the earliest I would guess is next week??

Since we're already leaning towards a weekday, please go ahead and post your prefernce for a day (M-F)

    Thanks!
