Something you've taken up recently or have you been doing this for a while, Terry?

You mean wing walking (I have trouble looking down off a curb) or air photos (just went to an air show last weekend)? - Terry

    That's a great shot....

    What lens did you use?

These pictures have me thinking about hitting the Chicago Air Show next weekend. If I do go I will be taking my 100-400 but just shooting from the beach.

    Excellent!

I was psyched to see this in the gallery, Terry! I liked it enough that I posted a link for it on our Facebook page. That means, including our Twitter followers, it just got shared with 2000+ more photography fans

I commented in the gallery but I'll share here, too. I think it's technically very good and I really like the black and white treatment - it compliments the content perfectly. Plus, it's just a cool subject. I'm glad you shared it with us!

    Thanks.

I used the 70-400mm G SSM for this shot. It worked very well as long as I didn't need a real fast shutter speed - like with the jets.

    Re: Wing walking...

I agree with your decision of making it B&W.
The plane itself feels modern with all the logo's but the wing walker looks as if it is in a separate vintage photo.
    Very nice!

Thanks. The sky looked the same as this when in color so I had little choice but B&W. - Terry
