I took pictures of them all in the park today.
After dropping the wife off at work, I went out to a local park for a little photo trip. I ended up getting some great shots of some ducks, Canadian Geese, and a small gauge railroad that you can take rides on. I was originally planning on only being there an hour or so, but I ended up spending about 2 1/2 hours there. My goal today was to practice using fill flash, and I discovered that using Shutter Priority worked very good for that. Well, here is the good stuff:
The family that swims together, stays together
These guys were EVERYWHERE (See next pic) But this guy kept looking back at me, begging me to take his picture.
This guy had just woken up, and felt the need to stretch a little. I saw a couple other geese doing this, anyone know why they do it?
Mmmmm, Grass.......
This duck stood there for about 10 mins, waiting for me to get the best shot of him
Other birds felt the need to hang out by the water
This is probably less than 1/2 of the geese in that flock
A butterfly that I was able to shoot.
And a cool dragonfly, only problem was I didnt have a very fast shutter speed
Choo Choo!
I saw this bridge, and got the feeling that it would be a great place for a photo op
I spent a good amount of time getting this shot ready. I ended up choosing the shutter speed for the sky, and set up 2 flash units on the ground lighting the bridge/train, and the master on the camera, and this is the result:

I've got more geese/duck shots on my site, as well as one or two more train images.
