PhotoMatix was the industry standard a couple of years ago, but others have stepped to the plate lately. I still use PhotoMatix Pro, but depending on what I want to do, I will often simply use Photoshop. Not the HDR function of Photoshop, but instead I find I get the best results by simply using layers and blending my photos together using layer masks and layer blending options.
