Went to Houston, TX over the weekend.

Had a blast, the bride's family is originally from Syria, so it was a wonderful mix of Arabic music and dances with American culture and Christian Orthodox traditions.

Not a bad way to spend the weekend!

The third one (in the car b/w) looks a little odd. It took me a minute to figure out what I was looking at. Other than that, these are really nice. Your color always looks really good.

Re: Went to Houston, TX over the weekend.

    Thanks guys.

    Adina,

I agree it's a bit hard to read. I like those sort of shots, but I wonder if it's too far.

    Rick,

Thanks. The church and the limo had rich warm tones, I tried not to lose that in favor of "accurate" color.

    Wonderful!

Those are great wedding photos. They made me smile and want to kiss someone. I'm trying to decide which engineer is the best recipient. Gotta find one that shaved

And I LOVE the third one. Anyone who doesn't like it is hereby decreed to be W*R*O*N*G. It's a great photo

I agree with Walty Ricky about the color, too - it's really nice. I like it rich.

Ditto on what the others have said. Love the richness of your colors.

Hot dang your ability to capture the color like that humbles me. That first one is such a nice balance of light. I am jelous.

I don't think this can really be described as a traditional wedding anywhere.

Well, thanks, I'm flattered, but there's no secret to it. I just underexposed the background a bit while keeping the foreground controlled with a 550ex bounced into an umbrella. Like I mentioned before, most of the warmth and richness comes from the way the church was decorated. I just recorded it...

How great, an UN - Silhouette wedding photo! Well done.

If I could shoot weddings in churchs like that regularly, I might be willing to do more. . .
