    Lynnwood, Washington's Show

A few from the show in Lynnwood. Not much for a foreground and a little too close shooting at 17mm on my rebel XT.

Nice work. The sky is what sets these apart. Wonderful tones.

Hey, Jimmy! They look good to me. Like Rick, said, the sky still having a little light makes these unique.

These are amazing Jimmy! The color of the sky was the first thing I noticed, but I just sound like a parrot.
    It's not blurry. It's bokeh.

You're not too close until the bits that come down are still burning when they hit you
Having been under displays like that, and a few feet form the mortar tubes I appreciate how close you were !

Getting close rather than the usual far back with a long lens approach gives a different perspective that as an ex-pyrotechnician I rather like.

I agree with the others on the lighting of the sky. Did you do anything specifically to get the lighting or did this just work out that way? Nice shots.

    Re: Lynnwood, Washington's Show

As far north as Lynnwood/ Seattle is the sky is usually that bright when it is clear out. It is still light out until 9:30 at night for another couple of weeks.Lynnwood is about 20 miles north of Downtown Seattle.
