    Weather As A Photography Factor

Sometimes getting the shot involves more than just being there with your gear and using good technique. Here are some photos from a cyclocross I race I shot this weekend. The other photographer is member, Chris350. To see more photos from the race, check out the Cyclocross Obsession thread in the Sports Photography Forum.

Ha! Looks brutal. Way to get at it!
I could have shot 'cross in sleet yesterday and decided not to. Maybe if I had gotten the sealed kit I might have run out of excuses.

I'm wondering if you, or someone/where else would be a good resource on just how tolerant our cameras are to various conditions, i.e. a camera with no weather sealing like the good ole d40 will survive ______, some weather sealing such as the d7000 will allow_______ and so forth.

No way. I don't get paid enough to shoot in inclement weather. More power to those of you that do!
