    Watermelon Anyone???

We found out over the weekend that two of our grandsons really liked watermelon. Jack and Wesley just kept asking for more. Joy had to fight to get her a piece. Just one of those fun times from a great 4th of July weekend with the family.

Fun stuff, Larry. I like the shot of Joy as she seems to have had a hard time escaping with the little slice for herself.
Great memories for the albums. . . .

    Re: Watermelon Anyone???

Thanks for the looks and the comments Lori and Gary. the family photographs have always been a major part of what I've done with photography. I enjoy it and it brings a lot of pleasure to the whole family. It's even better now with the grandkids to focus on.

Familys and grandkids are so fun to photograph and these are great ones.

I heard watermellon rind has the same effect as Viagra on the news and that it affects both men and women. I can't get my wife to eat watermellon rind though.

Frog: I don't think I could get Joy to go for that either. Although she did point out that Wesley would have gladly eaten the rind too if we would have let him.

Susaan: Great way to express it. It was a delicious day all around.

These shots are simply priceless. The 4th one with the watermelon juice running down his body cracks me up. Joy is a topper to this series.

Thanks Julie! That Wesley is a real keeper, and to think we were worried about him as a new born because he was so small. He is making up for lost time with a very healthy appetite now.

Larry, great shots. Love number 1 and number 3. Three really stands out. Definitely a shot worthy of framing.

Great shots. They give me some ideas about the next time the kids are over.

Grand kids are the best John you can let them get tired and dirty and as cranky as can be. Then you just send them home with the parents and you can kick back and take a nap. And the good part is your still the hero to them because you let them do all the things they wanted. Mom and Dad get the pay back!
