    Warriors Unite!

Okay folks, now that there are the Nikon Samuri's, the Clan O'Canon, and now the gods and goddesses of Olympus I may as well throw my hat into this arena and announce the offical start of....THE MINOLTA WARRIORS! Anyone who uses a Minolta or Minolta Konica branded camera is welcome to join. Any format, any era, any type.

When the upstarts cliques get some members, we should have challenges betwwen the groups, Friendly, themed, contests.

OK, so with Minolta Vectis APS SLR (2bodies), Z1, A1, A2 I guess I qualify?

LOL! Don't you mean the SONY Bologna? Sorry, you have to be really old to understand that.

Konica-Minolta is gone, sold lock, stock, and barrel to SONY. Go on, move over to the Dark Side! You'll include more people.

Well, let's see, with an SRT102, XD 11, XK, G500, A200 and one that I have forgotten the model number for, I guess I qualify for the Warriors.

    Cheers!

    Re: Warriors Unite!

This is my first post but have been lurking in the shadows for awhile. I hope I can join the club as well. I just bought a KM Maxxum 70 QD with the Sigma lens package from Wolf Camera. I mostly shoot black and white, and do most of my own develpoing and processing.

You guys have given me inspiration and make me want to try new things

    Thanks and God Bless-Zack

    Nice! That's the spirit

I think Michael's idea of making it a Minolty forum is kind of interesting. He is right. It will my more inclusive. And if there's enough action, it might justify a new forum. I'm not sure if the spirit of Sony and Konica-Minolta are similar enough, though. Regardless, I like to see people rallying the troops - as long as it remains friendly.

    Re: Warriors Unite!

I had an idea about monikers for the group. The canon groups takes that as their last name in their sig, the samurais have numbers...maybe we could take on Monty Python's Holy Grailish knight names. Sir so and so, or madame so and so...I don't know its late sorry for the rambling.

I think it would be a lot less fun for you non-Canon users.;)

Be careful what you wish for, Almo - lest you see with your own eyes why I left Canon behind for Minolta.

Hmmm, I have to wonder if there should even be a club for a brand that has abandoned its camera products....;)

    Re: Warriors Unite!

PJ, the KM exclusive boards are now adding Sony forums already, in an attempt to prepare for this summer's release. Since the products are going to be interchangeable (lenses) I think it is a good idea. Especially since alot those of us that bought into KM before the end are very interested in the Sony system, it seems to be a hot topic everywhere.
