    Warm enough to play outside

Finally the temperatures got in the double digits, and actually above freezing today. The ice on the river that goes thru our city broke up in a massive warm up a couple weeks ago, then jammed and froze when it got colder forcing some evacuations due to flooding. The water looks about 4-5' above where it should be. Nice day to be out shooting again...

This first shot is from the middle of the river south of town, and it's crossing red fox tracks. I'm pretty sure that's what it is anyway, since I walked right by their den to get to this spot. All snow, so I relied on "sunny 16" which did a better job than Matrix metering. This one's basically straight out of the camera.

Re: Warm enough to play outside

We had just the opposite, blowing snow and high windchill - going down to -38 C tonight. Won't be running out to do any image capture in this stuff.

Nice pic's, I specially like the ones of the tracks in the snow.

    Cheers,
