With the portfolio, I would think that your best bet is to assemble a broad range of relevant photos that show different aspects of your skills. The people, the cars, shots that capture the atmosphere, shots which tell a story and would look great with accompanying text, and shots which show a little more of your own creativity, so that the portfolio is stamped with your own personality. Then, if possible, get some opinions from people who know what they are talking about, and can judge your work honestly, and trim it down to the cream of the crop!
Other than that I can't really offer any advice, but if this is your dream job, then go after it with everything you've got, and best of luck to you! I'll keep my fingers crossed.
Closing date is day after tomorrow.
So no time at all for peer review.
The advert says "applicants must be able to demonstrate an ability to work under pressure" which is probably why they have a two day cut-off
So what I need is practical advice.
SIZE of the portfolio prints, is 10x8 acceptable ?
If not I can stop now, because that's all I can get locally in 24 hours.
MOUNTING of the prints is needed obviously.
Just adhesive mount on grey matte card?
