    Urban Art - another batch

    Hi all

I had a few hours to myself today so I went into London on a search for some more urban art for my collection. Here are a few of the most interesting.

A lot more can be seen at: http://www.mikedalesphotography.co.u...olio33181.html

    Cheers

I never see this kind of thing being a small town boy in the middle of the woods.
Its fascinating but not enough so to make me want to live in a city.
    Nice shots, Mike.

Cool shots, Mike. I wonder if that last one is an artists self portrait?

    Thanks guys.

photophorous - I think so, yes. I found that, with a few others, at a playground/basketball area. From the look of it, they had commissioned the guy to decorate the walls. Unusually for this kind of art, it seems to have been left alone and not scribbled over. I am guessing he is a local kid with some cred.

    Mike,

These are really great - both the photos and the art. As in any worthy work of art, each one is unique - an expression of life - real life as seen through the eyes of the artist.

I enjoyed viewing all of the images on your website. I love the posture of the boy watching the bird flying away - and the man lying on the bench with the "do not disturb" sign hanging from his finger. Awesome. I love urban art for the art and the story it includes.

Liz & jetrim - thank you very much.

jetrim .. me too! For obvious reasons I could not post that one here However, it may be true insofar as we have the 2012 Olympics and the country is broke!

As the collection is now pretty large, I have done a blurb book on urban art: http://www.blurb.com/bookstore/detail/582380
