    Number 1500

Geez, I'm getting slack. Another View is already well past the 2000 mark! He's actually past 2100.

Well, in true Speed fashion, my milestone posts are usually of, my lovely wife.

I can see the grins already!

    :-D

These were taken in Myrtle Beach last month during our yearly honeymoon.

BTW, I am in the last photo. I knew Penny, Nat, et al, would be disappointed without a photo of me in there!

    ;-)

Gee 1500!! I think that I post way to much but at just over 800 I'm a newbie compared to you. Thanks for the update with the lovely Dawn. Nice to see some updated pictures.
Don't forget about the Gallery. Are your photos there??

Yeah, it sounds like a like, but Another View is already past 2100!

It's been a while since I've taken any shots of my lovely wife. I was hoping to take more in MB, but it just wasn't to be. I'll be sure to post more as I take them.

Thanks for the comments Old Timer! I do appreciate them.

Talking Thanks For The Comments Axle

Natalie and Another View have already passed the 2000 mark, as have several others.

Me, I post a little here and there. ;-)

But I'm after quality, not quantity. Which is why my "milestones" are usually of my favorite subject - my lovely wife!

Now tell your lovely wife that we expect photo's of the two of you in a hot tub, pool, whatever. Summer's coming, ya know!

    Talking Congratulations!

    Speed -

Don't be worried about Another view - he will be away for a few days, so maybe if you work at it, you can catch up!

Nice pictures as always - of Dawn. Of you too, of course! Who was pressing the shutter button?

You make it sound like I'm an egotist!

Hey, if you don't want to see any more photo's of Dawn, I can stop posting them. :-O

Dawn and I were originally scheduled to get married in April, but we couldn't wait, so we married in January instead. My parents gave us the condo in Myrtle Beach as a wedding present, which conveniently, was in April. We prefer that time of year, as the place isn't overrun with tourists, but it's usually warm enough to sunbathe, swim (in the pool), go for walks on the beach, etc. And each year, we take a mini-honeymoon, just the two of us, to relax and enjoy each other's company and undivided attention. I highly recommend it for every couple!

Thanks for the comments my friend.

I'm not worried about him. I think he's jealous of me. :-O

    ;-)

And I'm not going to catch up to him anytime soon either! I live in the real world, and I know I will not post enough to catch him.

The shutter was pressed by me. Why do you think they call me Speed? :-O

Tripod and self timer. Oldest trick in the book. And I did have to hurry to make it into the frame before the shutter fired!

    Thanks for the comments Liz!

Sure, easy to say when you have 2,141 posts!

    :-O

Watch that stance girl - I go up for my red belt on the 14th!

This was taken on the 23rd of April in Hampton, VA.

Two of the first place trophies are Dawn's. Two of the first place trophies are mine.

    Yes it is.

So Nat, have you got your own little Speed folder where you keep tabs on me? ;-)

Hehehe. I know you love me...

I took very few photo's this year, especially compared to the last couple of years. I also usually take some beach photo's of the two of us, but I didn't this year. We just didn't get around to it. I took this one the last night we were there.

My parents gave us a condo in Myrtle Beach as a wedding present, and we've been down there every year since. It's a great getaway, and I highly recommend it for every couple. No kids, no pets, just you and your spouse. Even if you only go to a bed and breakfast for a weekend, definitely make time to get away.

Hehehe. I seem to recall this type of banter when I hit the 1000 mark. Seems someone else remembers me...

Don't make me go into a posting frenzy. You only want to see so many posts of the sun, moon, stars, and me! :-O
