Update on the water drop project...

I asked for advice on doing this project a while back and here is what I am getting so far. This is way more difficult than first imagined. (Water drop reflections...) - TF

Probably much softer than you want but the ideas are great.
What's throwing you off now? Focus? Your choice of reflections is great..

    great progress!!!

exif says the exposure is 3.2 seconds , is this right ? if so i assume you are using an external flash to freeze the image

how do you get such large drops ?

livin4lax09 and Paula - Thank you.

Frog - I think I need to get better image focus, better drop focus (2 shots layered???), and some interesting things to have the drops dripping from.

armamndo_m - The room was dark enough not to show anything in the 3 sec and the drop was picked up by triggering a flash. The drops are just a constant drip (< 3 sec/ drip) from a faucet, through some tubing.

I should also say, in case that it's not evident, that the images are prints setting behimd the drops. Three more. - TF

It looks like you're really getting the hang of this. I really like the B&W image with the flower in it.

VERY creative. The dog shot is my favorite, no wonder why, but I really like them all. I never would have thought of that. Thumbs up all the way. Great job.
