An unexpected meeting in London ... !!

    Hi all

This evening I went along to ain inter-club competition: my club vs another south London club. During the evening one of my London underground pictures went up. After the competition we were all standing around having coffee and I heard a voice say "Mike?".

It was overbeyond from this forum!! He, it turns out, belongs to the other club and when my name was announced he put two and two together and realised it was me!

Anyway, we are going to plan a get-together in London some time. And (Paul, Roger & Alison) he is definitely interested in another SE England get together.

Sometimes it really is a small world!

Incidentally, the picture got 10/10 and, in effect, came second in the evening's competition

    Cheers
    Mike

How does 10/10 come second - did the other one go to 11 ?

Paul .. the judges in these inter-club events always give the top picture a "ten plus" - it's no more points, but does designate the winning image.

Excellent - glad you chaps met up.

I have been researching the next location so I can assume that you and Tom are basically in the same location for distance.

I will come to a decision next week - on hols this week.

It was really great to meet Mike the other night and I look forward to meeting more members on an outing in the future.
    Thanks for your posting Mike.
