Most of my exhibition, Floridustrial was shot with a fish-eye. Canon EF 15mm f/2.8.

Here is one I had on my work computer. Not the greatest as it was shot at ISO 3200 but it is all I had at 18mm

I've never been able to get this whole Russian Orthodox church in, in one shot..narrow street its on so thought I'd give it a try today. Haven't done any shooting for a couple of weeks mostly due to getting migraines every afternoon but doc figured out it was my thyroid and slowly getting better. Enough I actually wanted to go see how my Tokina 12-24 would do.
I got to playing for the last shot...highlight sky and use equalizer filter. Thought it was kind of cool. Just wish I could get rid of that dang fence.

I really like the second one and yes the fence is a bother, but sometimes there is not much of a choice. By the way, it looks like you have a dust spot on your sensor.

I agree with the 24mm rule. I shoot with a 24-105 on my sister's 5d and at 24mm it's a great focal length. But I don't think anything more is really wide angle persay. A 24mm on my 1d isn't very wide, and I CONSTANTLY find myself wishing I had a wider lens.

AND after looking at all these photos I have decided an ultrawide will be one of my first purchases when i return to the states.

I guess I'd have to have a fish eye to get inside that fence but thanks, Javier. Where is the spot...I'm not seeing it but its probably there somewhere.
Jim, your shots show why we need these wide angles.
My widest was the 18-135 so my widest was equal to 27 and unless I stepped the aperture down I'd often get vignetting. Don't seem to get any with this Tokina.

Thanks, Frog. The thing I love about the Sigma is that even when it's at 10mm, it doesn't have a lot of distortion on landscape pictures.

Frog, If you look at your third image, I see a small spot to upper right hand corner. It could also be something on the lens or filter.

Jim, I have been looking at that Sigma for about a week. I will order it on Monday.
