Looking to make people think about critiquing your shot? Looking for flaws? Or do you think there's something wrong with it?

As far as I'm concerned, it's a great shot. The only thing that doesn't matter in this shot is that it was taken in NJ. Doesn't detract from the image (or keep it from being a great photo, as you put it), it just doesn't matter to the image IMHO.

Another beautiful shot, Paul. I love how the yellow in the photo jumps out at you. Now why can't I ever get the birds to hold still for me?

Well maybe you don't specificly go out LOOKING for birds? knowing your subject and a bit of luck pays off too.

chasing birds is tough, but setting up at well used areas can be quite productive.

    I chase mostly

OK HERE IS WHY THIS IS GREAT

GOLD FINCHES make a nest BASED ON milkweed busting open........ which is in quite a long time from now!! songbirds have left the nest when goldfinches hatch...... well these2 are TWO months early!!!!!!!!

ANGLE IS THE NEGATIVE... most of you are listening GREAT!!!!!
