This is Troy. The happiest person I know. This is a strange story I almost hesitate to share. Troy is a little behind the rest of us. Before my accident I thought Troy was just annoying. But since my return to the real world he has turned into a real friend.
I see his pure golden heart and just how smart he really is. Despite his challenges he worked a job for forty years with the same employer. Supported himself with hard work. He is now retired. God has shown me just how smart Troy really is and that I was probably the one that was a little behind.
I promised Troy for almost a year that I would take him to a rodeo. When we left out to go he was almost hyper ventilating with excitement. Like a kid on Christmas morning.
I played around with the image in PhotoShop using some things I picked up on YouTube. I hope I did him justice.

What a great story, Greg! Well spoken!

Sometimes we miss out on life when we don't get to know enough about what is in the heart and mind of another person. You are really blessed to have Troy as a faithful friend. And what a gift for Troy to have someone like you who cares enough to be his friend, and to make it possible for him to enjoy life a lot more and share fun times together.
